Super Easy Pancakes Recipe

A really quick and easy pancake recipe, with simple pantry ingredients and no weighing scales involved!

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Measuring cup
  • Whisk
  • Frying Pan/Non Stick Griddle
  • Spoons

Ingredients

  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup self raising flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • pinch salt
  • Small amount butter

Instructions

  • Add the flour to your bowl.
  • Make a well in the centre of your flour and crack the egg in there.
  • Give it a bit of a whisk and then pour in the milk.
  • Add a pinch of salt and whisk for around 30 seconds, until all the lumps are gone.
  • Preheat your frying pan and add the butter. Spoon some of the mixture into the pan (I use 3 tablespoons per pancake) and leave to cook until you can see air bubbles appearing on the pancakes.
  • Turn them over and allow to cook for a further minute, and then transfer them onto your plate.
  • Serve with your favourite toppings and enjoy!
