Add the flour to your bowl.
Make a well in the centre of your flour and crack the egg in there.
Give it a bit of a whisk and then pour in the milk.
Add a pinch of salt and whisk for around 30 seconds, until all the lumps are gone.
Preheat your frying pan and add the butter. Spoon some of the mixture into the pan (I use 3 tablespoons per pancake) and leave to cook until you can see air bubbles appearing on the pancakes.
Turn them over and allow to cook for a further minute, and then transfer them onto your plate.
Serve with your favourite toppings and enjoy!
